Like Angustora, Amargo Chuncho is a Peruvian bittersweet that not only gives the Pisco Sour a distinctive touch. Named after an ancient Peruvian Indian tribe, this bitter refers to tradition and origin. For production, only natural ingredients from the forests of Peru are used. Herbs, spices, flowers, barks, roots, as well as leaves of the Quina and Sarrapia tree. The Amargo Chuncho is a macerate, which is then stored for six months in oak barrels.
Very fragrant, this bitter brings extra flavors in cocktails and also dishes. Paired with a light fruit note, Amargo Chuncho simply enhances any flavor.
