Pilsen Callao is the oldest beer in Peru: It has been produced since 1863 in Callao, a town near the Peruvian capital Lima. The "Compañia Nacional de Cerveza (CNC) was founded by immigrants from Germany and later sold to a group of investors. They still produce the beer in Peru today.

Callao is a light, golden yellow lager that is recognizable by the striking green tone of its bottle and the slightly bulbous bottle neck.
