Sweet Chipotle Chilli Sauce, 220g
Chipotles are red jalapeño chillies that are dried and smoked. This process of preservation originated before the Aztecs. The chillies have been dried and smoked to extend their shelf life. This process is still used today - the chipotles are placed in an Adobo sauce, which consists of tomato puree, among other things.
The smoking process and the Adobo sauce give Chipotles a unique and delicious smoky taste. The sauce goes very well with grilled meat, beans, stews, enchiladas, fajitas, etc.
