DOÑAREPA Precooked white maize flour, 1kg

Doñarepa is a Colombian pre-cooked maize flour, made from 100% maize and 100% natural.

This flour is mainly used for the preparation of arepas, an extremely versatile dish that can be served as an appetiser, snack or side dish. Arepas can become a full meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on whether you add meat, cheese, eggs or vegetables - or a combination of these.

In Colombia, arepas are usually made a little thinner than in Venezuela, where they are often used for sandwiches filled with meat or cheese, such as reina pepiada.
