Manufacturing:

The Flor de Caña rums are "single estate" rums, 5 times distilled, storage and maturation until bottling takes place in the same place. They are "single aged", i.e. not blended. Due to the "slow-aged" ripening process, the ripening takes place naturally and without any influence. This gives the rums their own, unadulterated and particularly smooth character. The Rum Extra-Seco matures for 4 years in non-air-conditioned cellars and is then clearly filtered. Flor de Caña is the only rum that is produced according to this authentic ripening process and that is allowed to carry the label "slow-aged".
