SIBARITA Amarillito seasoning, 9.5g
Amarillito/Palillo is a spice blend that is known and loved in Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia. It is also used as a food colouring and consists of turmeric, among other things. The name palillo, literally a diminutive of palo, is explained by the shape of the turmeric roots.
Palillo came to America with the European explorers and conquerors, but spread mainly through the importation of African slaves, in whose meals it was an important ingredient.
