TAMA-ROCA Banderilla - Tamarind Candy, 480g
Banderilla de Tamarindo is a traditional Mexican sweet in the shape of a stick, made from a thick, sticky paste of tamarind, sugar, salt and chilli powder.
Besides being eaten on its own, the Banderilla is particularly popular in Mexico as an edible stirrer for drinks – especially for mangonadas (a slushie made from mango and chamoy) or micheladas (a Mexican beer cocktail with spices). The tangy, spicy tamarind coating slowly dissolves in the drink, giving it a fruity, chilli flavour.
