THE RUM FACTORY Elixir liqueur is manufactured in the Bodega de America in Panama and matures in American white oak barrels for up to 7 years. After ripening, the rum becomes a liqueur by adding sugar and dried fruits which are macerated in the rum. The liqueur has a straw yellow color. Elegantly sweet on the nose, vanilla, banana and creme brulee. The palate of this premium liqueur is creamy and buttery with aromas of toffee and dried fruit. Fruity and powdered vanilla sugar with raisins on the finish. Excellent modified rum for a delicious dessert in a glass.
