Products of AMAZON
The Amazon Pepper Company is based in Valle del Cacua – Colombia. Surrounded by the sun and the warm, clear waters of several Andean rivers that border our Amazon jungle, the fertile Colombian soil produces a wide variety of peppers such as Amazon, Cayenne, Jalapenos, Habaneros, Scotch Bonnet and Jolokias that we grow all year round and which our group has been growing in large quantities for the world market since 1974 (initially industrially).
With the experience and knowledge of two generations about the unique properties of peppers, the Amazon Pepper brand was born in early 1994.
Year after year, people praise our Amazon pepper sauces as second to none. Our Amazon Green Pepper Sauce in particular was the inspiration for Randy Wayne White, editor of Readers Digest Magazine and bestselling author (of the “Doc Ford” series), who wrote of the product: “While traveling through Colombia recently, I came across this product Came across a local preparation that I thought was the best hot sauce I've ever tasted. It was a sharp green, quite hot, but not too hot. It smelled of strong vinegar and crushed pepper blossoms. It was easy. It was pure. His name was AJI AMAZON”.
