Pilsen Callao is Peru's oldest beer: It has been produced since 1863 in Callao, a city near the Peruvian capital, Lima. The "Compañia Nacional de Cerveza (CNC)" was founded by immigrants from Germany and later sold to a group of investors. They still have the beer produced in Peru today.

Callao is a light, golden-yellow lager, recognizable by the subtle green hue of its bottle and its slightly bulbous neck.
