KRUM

The German rum tradition is older than many people think – Caribbean rum was first imported in the 17th century. Trade flourished under the Hanseatic League, and port cities such as Hamburg, Bremen, and especially Flensburg became the first rum strongholds. Today, there are many small distilleries, rum festivals, and a growing rum community. Since 2020, the MAENNERHOBBY Distillery & Brewery in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has been passionately working to perfect this fine spirit. The result is a rum that has won numerous international awards, with a focus on naturalness, craftsmanship, and quality. KRUM is based on the finest organic molasses from Paraguay and is distilled using the traditional pot still method.
