COEXITO Ground Achiote - Achiote Molido, 50g

The achiote tree is native to Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean. The seeds and pulp have been used for hundreds of years for a variety of purposes and are widely used in Latin America as a colouring, medicine and ingredient in many foods.

The colour is naturally intense and can range from yellow to dark orange. Achiote is often used in soups, stews, sauces and marinades and infuses dishes with a sweet, earthy yet peppery flavour.
