Bottle Deposit & Return

A deposit is charged on single-use beverage containers and reusable packaging purchased in Germany. According to the German Packaging Act, all retailers in Germany who place deposit-bearing products on the market are obligated to collect a deposit on single-use beverage containers and reusable packaging. 

There are designated collection points for returning empty beverage containers and reusable packaging (bottles, cans, jars, etc.). You will receive your deposit back at these points. You can return your single-use beverage containers and reusable packaging purchased from Sucos to a collection point near you (e.g., a supermarket with a deposit return system). You will receive your deposit back in cash at the collection point. If you encounter any problems, please contact us, and we will be happy to assist you in finding a solution. 

This ensures the return of beverage containers to the recycling loop. This should lead to better results in the recycling of packaging, reduce packaging waste and ensure a contribution to meeting European recycling targets.
